What To If You Are Denied For Credit

If you are denied for business credit based on information on your Business Credit Reports or if your business has been subject to adverse action for the same reason within the past 60 days, Experian will provide you with a free copy of your business credit report (D&B Reports are currently free for the owner). By following the steps below, you can receive the free copy of your Experian Business Business Credit Report:

  1. Get the denial or adverse action in writing and make sure it includes the following:
    • Creditors Name, Address, Contact Info
    • Your Business Name & Address
    • A reference that the Experian Credit report was pulled
    • A brief explanation of the denial or adverse action

Email your request with the adverse action letter to RFR@experian.com
or mail it to:

Costa Mesa, CA 92628

Within two business days of receiving your request, you will be sent an access code and instructions on how to retrieve your complimentary business credit report.
